coffee-queen448 asked: Hi! I'm a new follower - literally just joined Tumblr to follow your awesome blog. It's wonderful to find a men's issues blog that is both anti-misandry and anti-misogyny. Men's issues are just as important as women's, in that they are so interrelated I think. But then this is coming from a cissex female so my perspective is likely very very skewed. Keep up the good work!...
Anonymous asked: Man, I love your tumblr. I grew up in a stupidly conservative society and before I knew better I had a lot of prejudices drilled into me, even now I struggle with them sometimes, but I hope to raise my kids one day to be whatever they want and accept people for who they are and not what society wants them to be.

Does anyone know of any gender...
I’d like to be able to make recommendations to non-feminine-identifying people who require them.
Edit: There have been a few good suggestions, but I think menstrual cups are probably the best bet for a lot of reasons! Some have less feminine packaging, and they mean you don’t have to go into a store every month and buy a big box of supplies advertising the fact that you have a uterus....

US broadens definition of rape →
It now includes male rape victims, oral and anal penetration, as well removes the requirement of physical resistance. Still a ways to go, but I applaud the progress.

Anonymous asked: Hi! And thanks for the fantastic blog. I'm wondering if you or any of your readers could recommend me men's fashion sites/blogs. All of the sites I've found are rife with (cis/hetero)sexism, classism and what have you. Also I think fashion should be fun & playful! But all of the men's fashion sites are so serious. Instead of telling people of all the cool things out there,...

A Note About Cissexism...
genderqueer:
manybothans:
I had a really great pride this year, but I was also troubled by comments I heard over the last week from a lot of people in both the mainstream and radical queer communities. I want to say a few things about cissexism, specifically towards trans women and other MTF spectrum folks.
1) Gay sex does not require genital symmetry.
Most people in the community...
Anonymous asked: so when are gay men going to stop appropriating women culture?
ohshootiforgot asked: I was wondering - what is your opinion on the so called "gay-dar"? Is it wrong to assume someone is gay (or straight) because of how they dress/act? I got into a fight with someone about it recently, and I just wanted to know if I was right in saying what I did.

TOP SURGERY/BINDER RAFFLE!
femmeftm:
Hey guys, Could anyone help me out? I’m trying to raise the remaining money for my top surgery in summer. I still need 3,500 and would really appreciate any help. I don’t have any youtube followers because I need to remain stealth due to safety issues living in a small town. But I do follow a lot of FTM’s on tumblr and youtube and always try to donate to people’s chipins myself. Any...

Come on Willard, seriously?
First I hate him because he’s against marriage equality. Then I realize that he’s probably doesn’t even sincerely have that opinion, but just thinks it’s politically expedient. Then I further realize that most politicians form their stances this way, some are just better at seeming genuine.
Bah on you, Willard.
fuckyougenderbinary asked: I recommend Art of Manliness. It's an online magazine that covers all kinds of topics - style, health/fitness, dating, skills, all kinds of stuff. It's pretty hetero & cis-centric, but if you can look past that it's awesome. Pretty traditional male stuff without any sexism. The background states that it's not really for just men although it's definitely aimed at them -...
Anonymous asked: I recently noticed that when I try and express more traditionally 'manly' parts of my masculine identity I veer dangerously close to chauvinism - obviously I want to change this! Are there any books or websites you would recommend on expressing masculinity without misogyny/homophobia/privilege?

Obama says no to Plan B for teens →
Obama’s administration has overruled the FDA’s recommendation to make Plan B contraception available to minors. This presidency has been full of disappointments, but this one’s pretty big.

We're around!
